The Western Conference and Exposition (WEST) is the premier naval conference and exposition focused on operations in the Asia-Pacific region. Now in its 26th year, WEST offers exhibits and sessions that attract thousands of delegates, including industry, attendees from the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), Cyber Command and the National Security Agency, the U.S. Marine Corps, the U.S. Coast Guard, as well as representatives from Australia, India and Japan.
The show organizer, the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) is a non-profit membership organization dedicated towards the development of the command, control, computers, communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) industry, fostering ICT solutions for the defence, homeland security and intelligence markets. WEST 2016 conference and trade show features high-level speakers that will focus on topics such as military modernization, readiness, technological superiority, operations in the Asia-Pacific region, emerging systems, platforms, technologies, maritime strategy, and networks.
