CCC signed a project with the Canadian company Hatch and the Peruvian government as part of the third stage of the CHAVIMOCHIC infrastructure project.
Once completed this project is going to be the largest drip irrigation project in the world enabling Peru to cultivate new land and improve existing farmland.
The project is going to supply a reliable and potable water to 40,000 families and create over 150,000 new local jobs. It is also expected to boost the agricultural and agri business sectors in northern Peru, enabling the region to triple its exports from $400 million to $1.2 billion.
