Ottawa, CANADA – CCC is pleased to announce that it was awarded an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract by the United States Department of Defense (U.S. DoD), valued at up to USD $19 million dollars, to provide rubber molded gloves manufactured by AirBoss Defense Group (ADG) that protect military personnel against chemical warfare agents. The gloves will be supplied to the U.S Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), which is responsible for managing the global defense supply chain of the five military services of the United States.
ADG provides military, first responder, and healthcare professionals worldwide with a growing and diverse product portfolio, including wearable protective equipment to personnel operating in high-risk environments around the world. ADG has sold more than 6 million pairs of its molded gloves to over forty countries, earning a reputation for superior design, quality control, and commitment to innovation. The company has locations across North America, including in Acton Vale, Quebec – where the gloves will be manufactured.
In partnership with CCC, ADG has established a long-standing and robust relationship with the U.S. military, becoming an integral part of the U.S. DoD’s initiatives. To date, CCC and ADG have worked together on contracts with the U.S. military worth over $350 million.
CCC is the designated contracting authority for purchases by the U.S. DoD from Canada worth USD $250,000 or more. Through its U.S. DoD Prime Contractor service, CCC partners with Canadian businesses like ADG to supply the U.S. DoD with made in Canada solutions. U.S. DoD Prime Contractor is a free service funded by the Government of Canada and supported by the U.S. Government that help Canadians access the world’s largest government procurement market: the U.S. DoD.
